How do people decide which cinema to visit, the answer might surprise you!
Find out in the Cinema Society survey from SPARK!

We conducted our annual survey among The Cinema Society members to evaluate our performance and gain insights into their cinema-going habits.

We’ve shared these findings with clients and cinemas, and they are accessible to anyone interested in public cinema trends and their implications.

Over 1,000 members responded to this question:

What are the main factors that make you choose the cinema you visit?

Food & Drink In Cinema

Members prefer visiting their nearest cinema, but that’s not the only reason with comfort and price being almost as important (with great prices being provided by The Cinema Society).

Surprisingly, the widely promoted “premium seat options” are less important than the screen quality and sound, while in-cinema food and drink rank low in reasons for choosing a particular cinema.
